Oreo

Here's a picture of my cat, Oreo. ♥ I took this shot yesterday evening, while playing around with my Cross 6x filter. It's more useful with points of light, but I liked the soft effect it had on everything else.

Airplane

This was a really random, spur-of-the-moment shot. My family and I were at Mt. Cheaha last fall, and this plane flew right over our heads. I'm honestly surprised that this shot even turned out because I barely had time to even lift my camera, much less focus it. I'm glad it turned out, though.

Butterfly

I found this photo while I was going through old pictures this weekend. I had to stalk this butterfly for 30 minutes before I was ever able to get close enough to get this shot.

Night Photography

One of my favorite types of photography is night photography. I don't have much time for it, and I'm not that good at it, but I still love to do it. I love just seeing how they turn out.

I was actually taking the pictures of the moon the night I took this one. I had actually decided to try taking pictures of the stars, which is difficult since I don't have a really nice lens, but the clouds started rolling in. I was just about to pack up my camera and tripod, but I thought, "Well, I could try a shot with the clouds." I used my remote and about a 25 second exposure, and this is what happened! It's not the best photo, but I really loved how it turned out.
